About Fun on Farm

Fun on Farm brings learning to life by immersing students in hands-on farm experiences linked to nutrition, sustainable agriculture, science, and entrepreneurship. The program seamlessly integrates with CBE learning outcomes while reinforcing the school’s mission to nurture potential through academic excellence, talent development, character formation, and leadership growth.

Our goal is to make every trip fun, educational, and evidence-backed, ensuring that students, teachers, and parents see lasting value. Fun on Farm offers schools the opportunity to demonstrate how CBE thrives beyond classroom walls, preparing learners not just for exams, but for careers, citizenship, and life. Fun on Farm is an initiative of Perfometer Agribusiness, a Kenyan-based firm specializing in livestock and agribusiness across Africa.

Fun on Farm is designed for Primary & Junior Secondary learners (Grades 3–9), teachers seeking experiential teaching support, parents who want hands-on educational experiences for their children, and schools looking to enhance CBE outcomes. We also welcome families looking for weekend learning adventures that combine fun and skill-building.
The program focuses on Grades 3–9 (Primary & Junior Secondary). Activities are personalized based on the age and grade of learners, with developmentally appropriate learning progression. Early Primary learners (Grade 1–2) can also participate, with activities adapted for their learning through play, senses, and stories, accommodating shorter attention spans and concrete thinking.

Our process is simple: Confirm preferred date, Share learner numbers, Sign agreement, Payment & logistics confirmation, Pre-trip teacher briefing, Trip day execution, Post-trip learning follow-up. We collaborate with schools to align with term schedules and offer flexible packages - thematic programs such as sustainability, food systems, or animal care, and progressive tracks.
